BILLY'S BREW
Concept brand Billy Brew's custom craft beer label was a great passion project that allowed me to use my illustration skills with a fun twist. Known for its annual dog surfing competition, this Noosa based brew stands out on the shelves with these clever and quirky pups.
BRIEF
Billy's Brew had a new craft beer flavour, Endless Summer, which needed its own unique label, complete with embossing and custom die cut.

Queensland's coastal town Noosa is famous for its stunning headland, nature and waves. But did you know there's an annual dog surfing competition?

Taking inspiration from this interesting sport & knowing the target audience would get a kick out of these fun creatures, I created a handful of cool canine characters to grace the label: a sunglass-toting bulldog, a smooth dachshund (complete with his own donut floatie), a confident poodle and a daring terrier, wearing a swimming cap of course.
Together with some extra summer-themed illustrations, consumers are drawn to the label's fun characters and its wavy die cut. UV spot across the geometric lines give the label an extra tactile feel.
